6 ways to feel amazing

  • Allow yourself the nice things…and this doesn’t have to cost a penny.  Use the ‘posh’ crockery. Use your nicest tea bags or biscuits (normally saved for guests).  Use the perfumed hand cream that’s gathering dust at the back of your bedside drawer.  Wear perfume and/or jewellery.  Wear your best undies.  Don’t save them for special occasions, YOU are the special occasion! 
  • Spend at least 15 minutes each week on your own and doing something just for you.  Meditating, exercise you enjoy, walking, having an uninterrupted soak in the bath, reading, or simply just breathing. 
  • Spend regular time practicing gratitude.  Focus on the things in your life that you’re grateful for, and when you’re thinking of them, smile and breathe deeply. As a rough guide, try and think of 3 things each day.  
  • Practice self-love (or at least self-like!) as often as possible. Once a day, stop in front of a mirror, look yourself in the eye and pay yourself a compliment.
  • Give yourself a present.  Just because you’re worth it.  Nice underwear.  A bouquet of flowers.  A bottle of bubbly.  A fancy shower gel, bubble bath or soap.  And make sure it’s not a one-off.  
  • Have a professional photoshoot just for you.  Not only will you look and feel drop dead gorgeous, but you’ll have lasting memories and proof that you are photogenic, confident and worthy.  Even better – every time you see these you will be reminded of how great you felt and how great you are.
